What is singulation?
Product singulation is the process of separating individual products from a tray and presenting them one at a time for the next production step.
In this process, a robotic pick-and-place system identifies each product in the tray, picks it from its pocket or location, and places it into a controlled, single-file position or transfer point. This helps create consistent product spacing, reduce manual handling, and prepare the product for downstream operations.
