Vial tray loading and singulation is the automated process of transferring individual vials into trays or removing vials from trays and presenting them one at a time for the next production step.
Using a robotic pick-and-place system, individual vials can be accurately positioned into designated tray pockets, or full trays can be loaded into the system for automated vial singulation. During unloading, the robot identifies and retrieves individual vials, placing them at a controlled transfer point for downstream processing. This bidirectional capability ensures consistent product positioning, reduces manual handling, and supports efficient production workflows.
